  3. The object of the game is to solve the puzzle that is created as dots
  4. randomly appear on the screen to form letters. A clue is displayed 
  5. before the game begins and an empty block appears for each letter or 
  6. character in the puzzle.
  7.  
  8. The following files are included with this program:
  9.     GTM.EXE
  10.     CLETTER.DAT
  11.     GWORD.DAT
  12.     GTMTO.DAT
  13.     GTMTT.DAT
  14.     MYWORD.DAT
  15.     USED.DAT
  16.     README.TXT

  18. To play the game, change to the game directory and enter 'GTM'
  19.     cd\gtm
  20.     gtm
  21.  
  22. To play from Windows, use File menu command Run:
  23.     c:\gtm\gtm
  24.  
  25. Menu Selections: Enter Selection Letter
  26.  
  27. Play Next Puzzle: Play the next puzzle that has not been played. 
  28.     (Will recycle)
  29.  
  30. Select a Puzzle: Select a specific puzzle to play. You will be prompted 
  31. to enter the Selection Code Number. (Available upon registration)
  32.  
  33. Play My Puzzles: Play the puzzles that you have entered. These puzzles are
  34. played in the sequence that they are entered. After playing all of your
  35. puzzles, press enter to return to the menu where you can start over.
  36.  
  37. Enter My Puzzles: You can enter up to 25 puzzles. There are two sample
  38. puzzles included. You can clear all puzzles or modify your puzzles.
  39. If reviewing your puzzles, press enter without entry will allow the
  40. field to remain unchanged. To delete a field use an '@' sign in
  41. the first position of the field.

  43. The following characters are acceptable to the game.
  44.     A - Z  0 - 9  !  &  '  *  +  -  .  ,  /  =  ?
  45.     The program will make all letters uppercase.
  46.  
  47. Demo: Same as the Introduction Screen, but at game speed.
  48.  
  49. Change Speed: You can adjust the rate of speed that the dots are 
  50. displayed. The speeds are 1, 2, or 3 dots per second.

  52. Order Form: The order form to receive the registered version will be 
  53. displayed. Print, then complete and mail with payment to receive the
  54. registered version. Facsimiles are also acceptable.
  55.  
  56. CompuServe members can charge the registration fee to their CIS account.
  57. Use  GO SWREG, the Registration ID is 4340.
  58.  
  59. Quit: When you are done playing to exit this game.
  60.  
  61. Playing the Game: First a Clue will appear and a display of a blank block 
  62. for each letter or character in the puzzle.  Then after you start the 
  63. game by pressing enter, dots randomly appear to build the letters 
  64. that comprise the puzzle. 
  65.  
  66. Dots appear at the rate of one to three per second after the initial dots
  67. are displayed. The remaining dot count appears in the lower right corner.
  68.  
  69. Warning: Special Characters are included in several puzzles and are not
  70. highlighted prior to the start of the game.

  72. If you have solved the puzzle, you can press 'F' to Fast Finish the puzzle. 
  73. The remaining dots will be displayed at a faster pace.

  75. Be sure to look for the response which will appear below the clue after
  76. the puzzle is completed. Not all puzzles have a response.

  78. Each time you play a puzzle the dots will appear in a different 
  79. sequence. Sometimes key letters are formed immediately and other times 
  80. they are not evident until the conclusion of the game.

  82. The puzzles can be inspirational, be a cliche, or puzzling.

  84. The registered version contains an additional 200 puzzles with a file 
  85. containing a list of the clues and their selection codes.
  86.  
  87. This game can be played by one, but has also proven to be enjoyed by groups.
